Anxiety / Depression
Using techniques like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), strategies such as the exposure hierarchy, and behavioural activation ask clients to challenge their negative thoughts and learn empowering coping strategies. This process fosters personal growth and enhances overall wellbeing.
Relationships / Loneliness
Individuals are supported to rebuild their self-esteem, gain insights into their relationship patterns, and ultimately foster healthier connections in the future. Their support can be instrumental in turning a painful experience into an opportunity for personal growth and resilience.
Grief / Loss
Through providing a safe space to express their feelings and emotions. We offer support through active listening, empathy, and therapeutic techniques that facilitate healing. By guiding individuals through their grief journey, we help them understand and cope with their loss, ultimately fostering resilience and recovery.
Parenting Support
By providing guidance and strategies to navigate various developmental challenges. Parents begin to understand behavioural changes, enhance communication, and foster emotional resilience in themselves and their children.
This promotes healthy growth
and development, as well as stronger family bonds and improved well-being.
Trauma / Stress
Those experiencing trauma can be supported by understanding and connecting with their inner parts or "core self," which is usually shaped by past experiences. By fostering compassion and dialogue amongst these parts through Person-Centred Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), individuals heal emotional wounds and reduce internal conflict.
Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation plays a crucial role in therapy by empowering individuals with knowledge about their mental health and the therapeutic process. It helps clients understand their emotions, behaviours, and the underlying causes of their challenges. It enables clients to take an active role in their healing journey.
