Fees and Rebates
At Daily Growth Psychology, we believe in transparency. Our fee structure is streamlined to reflect the professional time dedicated to your care—whether that is face-to-face therapy, scoring assessments, or professional supervision.
Standard Rate - $260 per clinical hour (See below for specific packages, rebates, and alternative funding options)
We are pleased to offer fees that are significantly lower (18-21%) than the recommended schedule fee outlined by the Australian Psychological Society (APS - $318) and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi - $330).
Counselling & Consultation
For private clients and those with a Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from their GP.
Standard Session: $260 (50-60 mins).
Medicare Rebate: Clients with a valid MHTP may claim or be reimbursed a rebate of $98.95 per session.
Each session will incur an out-of-pocket cost of $161.05.
New Client "Engagement Package"
We offer a structured fee relief package to help new clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) commit to counselling for the full 10 sessions.

Sessions 1 & 2: Standard Fee ($260)

​This structure allows us to complete a comprehensive intake, assessment and treatment planning over the first two hours, and then remove the financial barrier for your third session as we begin the intervention phase. We can continue this for sixth, and the final 10th session. This way, you will save over $480 in out of pocket costs ($161.05 per bulk-billed session) over the full treatment.
Terms: The Engagement Package applies to clients with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan. Medicare rebates are subject to eligibility. Late cancellations may void the bulk-billing benefit for that specific session. This replaces previous offers (e.g. Initial bulk-billed session in 2025).
NDIS Participants
​For clients with Self-Managed or Plan-Managed funding.
We bill according to the current NDIS Price Guide limit for "Therapeutic Supports" (Psychology).

Cost to you: $0 out of pocket (Fees are invoiced directly to your plan/manager).

Rate: We charge 100% of the relevant NDIS price limit (currently ~$232.99, subject to change with indexation).

Note: The "Engagement Package" does not apply to NDIS participants as your funding covers the full fee from the first session.
Psycho-Educational & Diagnostic Assessments
For Cognitive, Adaptive Functioning, Educational, and Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic Assessments
We provide a transparent fixed quote based on the total estimated clinical hours required for your specific assessment (including intake, testing, scoring, and report writing). Typically a number of behaviour-based questionnaires are also sent to the client, for completion by stakeholders (e.g. parent/ carer/ teacher/ medical or allied health clinicians) for completion. Assessments are complex and require significant work behind the scenes. Unlike standard counselling sessions, we don't charge you by the exact time for assessments.

Our Payment Structure:

Start: $260 Deposit to book your Intake Session.

Commit: 50% Pre-payment of the quote to secure your testing dates.

Finish: Remaining 50% is due before the release of your final report.
Session Variations:
If sessions finish slightly early, the time is reallocated to immediate scoring and analysis (no refund applies). If a client requires significant additional time beyond the quote (e.g., due to complex needs requiring extra sessions), these will be discussed and approved with you in advance at our standard hourly rate.
Professional Supervision
For Psychologists, Registrars, & Mental Health Professionals.

Organisation / School Funded: $260 per hour (GST Inclusive). For supervisees whose fees are paid by their employer.

Self-Funded (Community Rate): $160 per hour (GST Inclusive). A reduced rate to support early-career psychologists and registrars paying from their own pocket, including for those who are on their Ed/Dev Psychology registrar journey.
Cancellation Fees
To ensure fairness to clients on our waitlist, the following fees apply to late cancellations and non-attendance.
Private Clients

Less than 24 hours notice (or No Show): 100% Fee ($260)

24 to 48 hours notice: 50% Fee ($130)

More than 48 hours notice: No Fee.
NDIS Participants

Less than 48 hours notice: 100% Fee (As per NDIS Short Notice Cancellation rules).

At Daily Growth Psychology, we aim to make settling your fees as simple as possible. We accept the following payment methods:

In-Person Contactless Payment (Tyro BYO) For face-to-face appointments, we use the Tyro BYO App.
This allows you to pay securely and instantly at the end of your session by simply tapping your card or smartphone (Apple Pay/Google Pay) on our device.​

PayID (Instant Transfer) You can make a fast and secure payment, a business email address is provided.

Direct (Bank Transfer) If you prefer standard electronic funds transfer (EFT), BSB/Account details are provided.
Please Note: If paying via Bank Transfer or PayID, please email your transaction receipt to PAYMENT@DAILYGROWTH.COM.AU to help us reconcile your account promptly.
